Conditions May Vary

Weathered birch rise through a brilliant blue landscape, their pale trunks layered with scratches, streaks, and unexpected flashes of color. Below them, rust and copper colored blooms tumble through the understory, while delicate spirals, dotted circles, and wandering lines move between the stems like wind, seeds, weather, and things you can’t quite see.

There’s a changing-season feeling here, the last warmth of autumn tangled with cool blue skies and the first suggestion that everything is about to shift. Tall, skeletal seed heads hover among the birch while tiny marks and patterns continue quietly beneath them, a landscape adapting in real time.

Conditions May Vary is about change without certainty. About making plans while knowing the weather (or emotions) may have other ideas. About bending, adjusting, and finding beauty in whatever shows up next.
