Clusters of icy blue and indigo blooms gather across a soft wash of turquoise and winter sky tones. Layered circles and textured paste create dimension, giving the florals a frosted, almost crystalline presence against the cool, airy background.
The delicate white, bone-like botanicals are inspired by pushki (cow parsnip) in winter. Their skeletal forms standing quietly after the color has faded, still beautiful, still strong. Vertical drips and looping marks add movement and depth, while hints of violet, lime, and deep navy glow beneath the surface.
This painting is about quiet discovery. About what remains when the noise settles. About finding beauty in what endures.
Ready to hang.
Created in my Anchorage home studio.
