Birch trees rise through a shadowy forest in anything-but-traditional colors, their trunks layered with hot pink, orange, turquoise, lime, white, and flashes of nearly every color in between. Scraped textures, loose black lines, and broken layers of paint give the bark a weathered, luminous quality, as though the trees have been catching and storing bits of color for years.
At their feet, deep magenta fireweed pushes upward through the understory, surrounded by fine grasses, wandering botanical marks, and glimpses of green and gold. Behind it all, muted browns, grays, blues, and forest shadows give the brighter colors somewhere to glow. The deeper you look, the more little pieces of the forest begin to appear.
Prismatic Forest is about seeing beyond the expected. About discovering color where you thought there was only bark and shadow. About the way a familiar place can become entirely new when the light hits it differently.
Comes framed, ready to hang.
