Rainbows Are Visions

Available at Tiny Gallery, downtown Anchorage.

A sweeping rainbow arcs across a soft, textured sky, rising out of layered, cloud-like forms built with sculptural paste. Circles, drips, and playful marks dance through the piece. Like bubbles, like laughter, like something just out of reach but very much felt.

This piece is rooted in memory. Named after the song Rainbow Connection, you know the one sung a thousand times as kids. It holds a quiet thread of connection, distance, and love. A reminder that even when life shifts and stretches us far apart, there are still these bright, familiar things that tie us together.

There’s a sense of wonder here… a little nostalgic, a little hopeful, and just the right amount of magic.
